Find the x and y intercepts of the line given by the equation 2x - 3y = 12

The x intercept can be found out by putting y=0 in the equation

2x=12

x=6

the x intercept is 6

similarly the y intercept can be found out by placing x=0

-3y=12

y=-4

the y intercept is -4
