vertex:  (3, -1)  and   zeros:  x = 4, x = 2  and y-int:  y = -1

Step-by-step explanation:

y =  xx  - 6x  + 8

y  =  (x - 4)(x - 2)

since   -4 * -2 = 8

and  -4 + -2 = -6

so  roots are  x = 4  and x = 2

y = xx - 6x  + 9 - 9  + 8

y = (x - 3)^2  -  1

vertex:  (3, -1)

y-int:  y = -1
