Hey there!

So starting off we are going to take alllllll the numbers BEFORE the decimal, so in this case 987164.

Now 987164 represents the "ones" place.

Now lets do 3, 3 is going to represent AFTER the decimal, so 3 will be the "tens" place.

0 will be the hundreds

and 2 will be the thousands.
